Festive season is here!

Well what a great Melbourne cup! I hope you all enjoyed the day and were able to celebrate a win.

Here at The Greek Club we had a lovely bunch of guests who enjoyed a wonderful lunch in our Odyssey Taverna. We sold a record number of sweeps and a number of lucky winners took home Fashions on the Field prizes. As you can see by the photos below, the day was a great success.

This month we are starting all the end of year celebration functions with school valedictory dinners, Christmas lunches and parties. The Banquet kitchen with be preparing meals for over 8,000 guests, not including Taverna patrons. Executive Chef Jean Louis will be using all his experience and culinary skills to make this month extraordinary.

There is something very inaccurate with the famous lyric, “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas” – because for most, everyone is in fact dreaming of a fantastic Christmas party. Give the gift of joy and ensure there aren’t any Grinchs skulking around the office come Christmas time, by making a group booking at The Greek Club.

The Odyssey Taverna Christmas parties have plenty to offer with a Greek buffet, belly dancer, Greek band and the Hellenic dancer’s floor show. Book now and avoid disappointment.

Don’t forget to book for the Member’s Christmas party on 3rd December. There are very limited places available. Great food, great entertainment plus a 2 hour drinks package and you will be in the draw for a fantastic $1,000 travel voucher prize, drawn on the night. All this for $35.00. It’s our way of saying thank you for being a valued member.

And to finish of the year, celebrate this New Year’s Eve Greek style. A delicious table meze, full traditional Greek buffet, Greek sweets plus live entertainment from one of our residents bands Glendi. If you book early enough you will be able to view the fireworks display on the river from the Terrace.
