SYNOPSIS OF THE PLAY: An old family feud haunts the lives of two ordinary people who don’t know each other, Thomas Makrikostaios and Stelios Kontogiorgis. The hatred flares up and the two heroes are under pressure from the family to take on the duty of revenge. They cross paths by chance in a hotel in Athens, and thus the invisible conflict becomes visible. Will they manage to emerge unscathed from this frantic chase and make do with old enmity?
The Cyprus Theatre Organisation, the country’s state theatre, is reaching out to the country’s diaspora and is touring Australia to present the unsurpassable comedy by Alekos Sakellarios and Christos Giannakopoulos “MAKRIKOSTAIOI & KONTOGIORGIDES”, a high-quality production that will appeal to audiences of all generations.
